Evans Crush on Natalie Beatham

My Crush on Natalie Beatham

As soon as Natalie and I met, I thought she was quite attractive and had that girl-next-door look which was appealing to me. She walked a little funny but it didn't really bother me. Her overall ditzyness was sort of cute to me as well. When we first met, she was only 17 and I was 42, so the idea of a relationship was out of the question.
Natalie did fliers for me once in a while (about once per month) over the next several years. In 2009 I moved out of state and did not see her again for several years, until March 2017 - the beginning of one of the worst mistakes of my life. By her own admission to me, it was during this period of time that Natatlie gradually developed her drug addictions of crack cocaine, heroin and pain pills. Natalie blames one of her ex-boyfriends for introducing her to drugs.
Natalie admitted to me several times during 2019, during this period of time that Natalie had her first two daughters permanently taken from her by DCF. I am pretty sure the reason had to due with her prior drug usage, but I am not sure. She blames her brother and her mother for it. She said he was downstairs having sex with a girl so he didn't hear the kids knocking at the door when they arrived home from school. This caused a concerned neighbor to call DCF. When DCF arrived so did Natalies mother. They asked her to do a drug test. According to Natalies admission to me, her mother said "just take the kids - I am going to fail the drug test". The kids (Abigale and Isabella) are NOT her brothers or mothers responsibility and if Natalie was a good parent to begin with DCF would never have gotten involved in her life.
Believe it or not, Natalie, to this day, actually still THINKS she is a good mother. When she would tell me that, many times between 2017 - 2019 when we would drive to Waterbury, I would agree with her and would have to turn my head and struggle to not burst out laughing.
Unfortunately for me, the fantasy of Natalie set me up for total dissapointment because the fantasy of Natalie Beatham was an ideal she would and could never come close to living up to.
